One day two Cobb County beekeeper friends were searching to honey supers during a strong spring flow. Neither had spare boxes which meant a road trip hours away to purchase additional equipment. Later that week, they ran into another beekeeper friend and shared their story about needing equipment. That friend said he had many extra boxes and if he would have known he could have shared saving them a trip. It was at that point the Cobb County Beekeepers’ Club started.
The goal of the club is to create a community where fellow beeks can share ideas and provide support. Additionally, we seek to have speakers visit to share their knowledge and impart new hive management techniques.
